All 2009 Holiday orders (with free shipping) must be placed by 9pm EST on Friday December 18th in order for guaranteed delivery by December 24th. All orders placed after this time may not be shipped in time for Christmas. See "shipping" section below for more information.
Prices on Funkyandfabulous.com are subject to change at any
time. Funkyandfabulous.com currently only accepts the following credit cards: Visa and MasterCard. Bounced checks will be subject to a $15 surcharge.

Please place your bridal jewelry orders at least four weeks prior to when you will need the pieces. This allows ample time for the design process, as well as for any special ordering of materials.
In some cases, a deposit may be required before custom designs and/or bridal jewelry can be made. Otherwise, orders should be paid fully in advance.

We are a small design group, and all of our jewelry
is handmade to order by artists in the USA. This means that your Funky & Fabulous jewelry will be made upon receiving your order, as opposed to having it mass-produced overseas. Because of this, pleases allow 5 to 10 business days for your order to be shipped (15 to 20 business days for custom designs and bridal jewelry). If you need any item(s) on a rush basis, please let us know at the time of your order in the "additional instructions" box,
and we will try to accommodate you as best as possible.
Once we've received you order, you will receive a confirmation email with order tracking information. Packages will usually arrive within 1-3 days from the shipping date.
Upon receipt, all orders must be inspected immediately. Any problems must be reported to us within 24 hours, via email or over the telephone. If your purchase was damaged or lost, we will assist you with any information you may need in order to file a claim with the delivery carrier. We are not responsible for merchandise that is damaged or lost in transit.
We are committed to keeping shipping/handling costs as low as possible, so all of our orders will be shipped by the United States Postal Service. Packages will be delivered through First-Class or Priority Mail, and will also be Insured with a Delivery Confirmation tracking number. Expect packages in 1-3 days from shipment date.

Funky & Fabulous offers Store Credit Only. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, contact us. We would be happy to exchange your merchandise for something of equal value or offer you a "store credit" in the form of a gift certificate (minus the cost of all shipping and handling). We want you to be completely satisfied with your order and are willing to work directly with you to achieve this!
Custom designs and bridal jewelry are final sale only! No credits or exchanges will be accepted on items that were specially ordered, lengthened/shortened, or had any requests for design changes. Any deposits taken for custom/bridal orders are non-refundable.
All returns must be post-marked within 10 calendar days of receipt, or they will not be accepted for exchange or credit. The merchandise must be un-worn, in perfect condition, and inside its original packaging with tags attached. We cannot be obligated to accept the return of damaged or worn merchandise, therefore it is suggested that you insure all packages.
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, which are non-refundable.
Shipping Instructions:
-Use the United States Postal Service only, either First-Class or
Priority Mail.
-Using a padded envelope or box for shipping, wrap jewelry securely
in tissue
paper or bubble wrap before stuffing into the package.
-Please enclose a copy of your invoice and indicate your reasons for the
return, making sure to describe
what you would like to receive
in exchange.
-Secure package with packing tape and be sure it's labeled clearly.

All necklaces, bracelets, and earrings are made with .925 Sterling silver and/or 14kt gold-filled spacers, clasps and findings.
Due to the availability of some semi-precious stones, pearls, and Sterling silver spacer beads, there may be occasional variations in some of our jewelry designs. In this event, we will contact you directly to explain these alterations before we proceed making your jewelry.
Semi-precious stones and cultured pearls are created by Mother Nature; therefore, minor variations in shape, size, and color usually occur. Naturally made materials hardly ever exhibit absolute uniformity, adding to each piece's unique beauty.
Swarovski crystals (a.k.a. "Austrian crystals") are the finest faceted crystals in the world. Since 1895, the Swarovski company has been producing its brilliantly pure and perfectly machine-cut crystals in an endless array of colors. They sparkle like nothing else!
Only the finest stringing materials are used in Funky & Fabulous jewelry, including: pure Sterling silver wire, 14kt gold-filled wire, kink-resistant nylon-coated beading wire, silk cording, and extra-strength nylon beading thread.

We utilize many of nature's beautiful creations in our jewelry collections. And like nature itself, our jewelry requires careful attention not to damage or harm it's beauty. Remember that natural gemstones and crystals will break if treated roughly. Also, please do not wear your jewelry in Chlorinated pools and/or hot tubs, or even in the bath or shower. Water additives drastically tarnish Sterling silver and can even damage soft gemstones and pearls. And finally, put your jewelry on last! Keep pieces away from the chemicals in perfume, hair products, and make-up.
If pearls begin to lose their luster, simply rinse them under cool water and dry off with a soft cotton cloth. Let them dry completely before wearing or storing.
Also, keep your Swarovski crystals sparkling like the day you bought them with an Ammonia based cleaner, like Windex. Simply spray a paper towel until it is damp, and then rub over the surface of the crystals. Dry off with another paper towel, and voila!
Believe it or not, the best way to store your jewelry when you're not wearing it is in an airtight plastic bag. This will keep your jewelry looking like new much longer than storing it in an open container or in a jewelry box.
Since Sterling silver does tarnish naturally, most pieces will eventually need to be polished. This doesn't mean that it will turn your skin green, rather the surface of the metal will darken over time the more it is exposed to the air (oxidizing). Using a polishing cloth is the easiest and safest method to return your Sterling silver back to its original shine. These cloths are safe to touch, non-toxic, and gentle enough to be used on jewelry that is made with pearls and softer gemstones, like: Amber, Coral, Jade, Malachite, Opal, and Turquoise. Never use a polishing compound or chemical soak on jewelry that contains such stones! A polishing cloth will also bring 14kt, white gold, and many other precious metals back to their original shine in the event of dulling.

However, in the unfortunate event that a piece needs repair, simply follow the above mailing instructions, and send the piece back to us. Please understand that depending on the extent of repair, loss/damage of materials, and shipping costs, the repairing charges will vary. Once we receive the piece, we will contact you regarding the charges. Or, you can contact us before mailing the piece for a rough estimate. If some of the materials are no longer available for repair, we will do our best to find something similar.
